Recently, I decided to order a modern CO2 laser, and settled on the Gweike Cloud Pro II. This is a pretty solid cutter. With a working area of 20×12, I can cut most projects I have designed, and can even cut acrylic! Of course, it’s got some quirks, but those are relatively minor.

This is the first thing I cut on this laser, as a test for accuracy. Came out perfectly accurate! And unlike the XTool F1, the edges aren’t bevelled due to the laser path.
So now I’ll be using this laser for most cutting, and my F1 for engraving. Kind of the best of both worlds – power and material availability, plus speed and accuracy.
its a definite improvement over the classic K40 lasers in both size and features.
