I just got myself a 3D Scanner! I’ve been wanting one for quite a while, and finally settled on the Revopoint Pop3 Plus. I haven’t really gotten to use it yet, but as always, I’m 3D printing parts.

First thing I printed was a turntable cover - you get a little USB-powered adjustable one with the Pop3, and I found a nice 3D print that gives me a larger plate, and it has integrated tracking dots! Super useful.

My next project is to print a bunch of magnetic “tracking blocks” - these are various shapes, and are intended to attach to metal surfaces to aid in tracking. The problem is, the ‘official’ set is something like $330! Forget that, it’s like… $3 to print them, especially since they provide stick-on marker dots I can just attach!
